We are delighted to introduce you to Event Specialists International, an exclusive group of industry professionals. We desire to maximize and leverage each member’s time and energy by synergistically working together to build our businesses and to gain a deeper understanding of the wedding and event industry.
ABOUT EVENT SPECIALISTS INTERNATIONAL
Mission Statement: Event Specialists International gives members the ability to grow their business through person-to-person business referrals, business development sessions, industry awareness, and philanthropy.
The basis behind the organization is to help build each member’s business to achieve success. We obtain this through topical discussions on market trends and business solutions as well as intensive sessions meant to bridge the gaps between good business practice and great business practice. We want to foster working relationships within the group to synergistically create better events, greater lead generation, and stronger business practices.
The members of ESI are a group of extremely talented and carefully selected wedding and event specialists. Each member goes through a screening process, which includes client reviews, peer reviews, and knowledge of their field of specialty. Each ESI member is noted for their excellence in customer service, their ability to go above and beyond their client’s expectations, and their unique style and talents within their specialty. The Specialists are also avid community supporters with a dedicated belief in giving back through various charitable organizations each year.

MEMBER BENEFITS
Becoming a member of ESI means taking a large step forward in the future growth and prosperity of your company. You will give and gain a great deal of knowledge and understanding with regards to creating your empire. Each membership meeting inspires members to make solid changes in their current business operational procedures for financial growth. Semi annual organization events continue to promote each member as a premier specialist within the industry. Participation in group marketing tactics brings widespread awareness to each member.
CHAPTER FORMAT
ESI will be comprised of multiple, worldwide chapters with a maximum of one chapter per city. The founding chapter is located in Beverly Hills, California. Each chapter is comprised of local wedding and event specialists only.
~ CATEGORIES
Each category is limited to one member unless approved by pre-existing member in a category and deemed necessary to further grow the organization. Members hold their category in one chapter. Membership in the organization allows a member to attend any open-session meeting in any other city but that member is required to attend their city’s meeting. Members are allowed to miss a maximum of 1 meeting per quarter or 4 meetings per year.
~ MEETINGS
Meetings are held once a month and last for two hours. Day of week and time slot is determined by each chapter. Meetings are comprised of Business Development Sessions, Member Showcases, Guest Inspirational and Educational Speakers, and Master Mind Sessions.
~ MEMBER SHOWCASE
Members have the opportunity to showcase their business each year. This showcase will give the member a platform from which to educate other members about their business.
~ BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT SESSIONS
The Business Development Sessions (BDS) are meant to enhance each member’s business through education and mentorship. The goal of the BDS is to enhance and enlighten members in their weakest areas to encourage positive growth.
~ CHAPTER OPEN HOUSE
Chapters will host a minimum of two open house events per year with a notable guest speaker or as an industry social meet and greet. The open house in meant to bring new members in and create industry awareness of the members.
BECOMING A MEMBER
Event Specialists International is looking for the best products and services in the event industry from businesses operated by real, genuine people who truly care about their clients and their events. Members of ESI express a more catered-to, personal touch with their clients.
~ SELECTION CRITERIA
You may join by submitting an application to ESI Corporate. You will then go through the selection process as follows:
1. Member audit of references
2. Chapter President Evaluation
3. Chapter Presentation of Your Services
4. Chapter Evaluation and Vote
Once passed through all steps you will pay the yearly membership fee. You will then be initiated in as a ESI Member and will be assigned a Business Partner that will go over how the group works and help answer any questions you may have. Next, you will supply your business showcase materials to our webmaster for insertion into our website. Finally you will start to experience the benefits of being an Event Specialists International member. Welcome to the team!
